Day 222 (11 Aug 2023) - Zurich, Switzerland
DAY 222 (11 AUG 2023) – After breakfast, I decided to explore this beautiful city by the water, which was just 5 kilometres away from my hostel. Zurich, is the largest city in Switzerland.
This bustling city located at the north end of Lake Zurich, is a global center for banking and finance, and is considered to have the highest standard of living in the world!
I captured the beauty of the historical Old Town that can be found on both sides of the Limmat River, that runs through the city.
Among the historical buildings found here is the 9th century Fraumunster Church.
