Day 197 (17 July 2023) - Stockholm to Lund, Sweden
DAY 197 (17 JULY 2023) – I left Stockholm at 7 am for a 7 hour (600 km) journey to Lund, a city at the southern tip of Sweden. Lund is one of Sweden’s oldest cities with over 1000 years of history.
I enjoyed strolling along cobblestoned roads in the city, surrounded by many historical buildings with amazing architecture.
It gave me small-town vibes seeing many people cycling along bicycle-friendly pathways.
I saw a large student population, since the famous Lund University was nearby. Lund University, established in 1666, is one of Scandinavia’s oldest and largest educational and research universities.
