Day 147 (28 May 2023) - Vladivostok to Khabarovks, Russia
DAY 147 (28 MAY 2023) - I started my riding journey in Russia today, departing at 6.30 am for a 750 km ride from Vladivostok to Khabarovsk. Khabarovsk is a Russian City that is nearest to the Chinese border!
It was a long 12-hour journey on a well-connected highway, surrounded by nothing but wide swaths of green grass with small trees.
The temperature was between 12 C to 16 C - not too hot and not too cold.
There were no tolls on the highway and very less small vehicles but many trucks. The journey was good but I had to endure many flying insects!
Along the way, I managed to fuel up my motorbike when necessary, at several mini petrol bunks.
I also stopped by near the Khabarovsk Bridge, a road and rail bridge that was built in 1999, crossing the Amur River.
I arrived at my hotel known as ‘Ria Hotel’ in Khabarovsk at about 6.30 pm. It was a single room at a cost of RM 105. The receptionist helped to arrange for parking with security for my motorbike, at the parking lot next door.
