Day 141 (22 May 2023) - Donghae, South Korea
DAY 141 (22 MAY 2023) - Later in the evening, I went to a bike shop near my hotel to buy a new handphone bracket for my motorbike.
I explained to the person in charge at the shop, Mr Lim about the specific handphone bracket. I also spoke about my world tour and objectives. He spoke very little English but his friend who was with him helped to translate.
I was surprised when he offered to sponsor the bracket for my world tour! I wanted to pay especially since it cost RM 400 but he refused to accept!
He also offered to fix the bracket on the motorbike, so I went back to my hotel, about 1 km away and brought my bike to the shop. When I returned, there were a few of his friends waiting to see ‘Parameswara’ (the name of my motorbike)!
Mr Lim properly fixed the bracket in its place. I was really surprised by his act of kindness to a random stranger, and I am grateful for his kindness and generosity!
