Day 119 (30 Apr 2023) - Fujinomiya to Nagoya, Japan
DAY 119 (30 APR 2023) – I rode my bike early morning to the highest hill top possible - at 2300 meters high, just to see Mount Fuji. This hill point was just 36 km away from my hostel. However, since it was cloudy due to the rain, I had no luck getting even a glimpse of the mountain!
Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan known for its conical form. It is the country’s sacred symbol with temples and shrines located around and on the volcano.
Later, I visited Shiraitonotaki (Shiraito Waterfall) and Otodomenotaki Waterfalls, which was situated at the foot of Mount Fuji, about 12 km away from my hostel. The waterfalls were simple stunning!
