Day 116 (27 Apr 2023) - Wakkanai to Tomakomai, Japan
DAY 116 (27 APR 2023) – After spending a few days enjoying the remote north of Japan, it’s time to get back to mainland Japan. So, I left Cape Soya for a 6 hour ride to Tomakomai.
On the way, I stopped by at Kotobuki Park just to check out the steam locomotive and fighter jet on display in the middle of the park! I also got to see a beautiful view of the snowy mountains from here.
Due to highway closure at certain parts, I had to take different routes only to arrive in Tomakomai at 9.45 pm. I stayed at Haku Hostel & Cafebar. The toll fee for the 280 km ride came to RM 140.
