Day 115 (26 Apr 2023) - Sapporo to Wakkanai, Japan
DAY 115 (26 APR 2023) – Stayed overnight at Sapporo and left at 9 am for a 6 hour journey (about 360 km) to Wakkanai. It was a challenging ride, besides the cold at a temperature of 6 C, it was also raining non-stop all the way!
Wakkanai which means ‘cold water river’ or ‘cold river valley’, is the capital city of Soya Subprefecture. It is the northern most city of Hokkaido, Japan.
