Day 108 (19 Apr 2023) - Narita, Japan
DAY 108 (19 APR 2023) – Took a train from the hostel to Narita International Airport, back to the airport warehouse.
While waiting for them to unpack the bike from the crate, I had my lunch at a café within the warehouse complex itself. Everything was self-service - I ordered my food using an automated machine, collected the food myself when it was ready and had to put the tray back on the trolley when I was done with my meal. Very organized and efficient!
By evening, after completing payment and formalities, I finally collected my bike. I stayed overnight at Narita Airport Hostel at a cost of 2500 yen (RM 82) a night.
I have done so much walking this past few days more than any country I’ve visited so far – to the extent that my shoe base had peeled off! Luckily, I managed to buy some strong glue and patched it up! It didn’t give me much trouble after that!
