Day 096 (07 April 2023) - Melbourne, Australia
DAY 096 (07 APR 2023) – Mr Vasu took me to visit the Bundoora Park Farm – an urban farm providing authentic farm experience for the whole family within Bundoora Park.
With the help of our friendly park guide, Anne, we took a ride on what looked like an electric buggy / tractor around the wildlife reserve. Finally, I got to see some kangaroos, even the little ones called joey (all alive and kicking)!
I also took the opportunity to feed a goat, horse (or was it a pony? I can’t tell) and some cockatoos.
And then there were the emus. The emu is the largest bird in Australia and the 2nd largest bird in the world – at first place is its cousin, the ostrich!
Nice to see that these animals are well cared for and allowed to run free in a safe and well-preserved habitat.
