Day 091 (02 April 2023) - Melbourne, Australia
DAY 091 (02 APR 2023) – Mr Chandra made some delicious ‘thosai’ for breakfast. From the pictures, you might think it is onion ‘thosai’ or the whole onion was a side dish – No! It was actually used to stop the frying pan from sticking!
Mr Chandra learnt this onion hack from his wife, along with some cooking lessons. He has also been getting some recipes from youtube and made delicious ‘sambar’ (lentil-based vegetable stew) and fried fish for lunch. I must say, he has become an excellent cook.
This has made me realise how much we depend on our spouses for everything - Maybe I too should learn some cooking from my wife!
I tagged along with Mr Chandra to the Preston wet market just to check it out. Of course, it was packed since it was a Sunday. Later, we visited a shopping complex and went for a Tamil movie. The cinema ticket price was 18 AUD per person.
