DAY 081 (23 MAR 2023) – Today, I am the happiest man on planet earth! After 42 days, I have finally collected my beloved motorbike, Parameswara!
2 days ago when I went for an appointment at the quarantine and inspection centre, I found out that my motorbike did not pass the inspection.
The culprit - a single tiny piece of grass stuck behind a steel rod! I was both, disappointed and amused at the same time.
I was told to remove it myself, so I returned the next day and with the help of a staff, we got the grass out using an air compressor.
Today morning, I rushed to get my motorbike when I received an email that it passed inspection. I was ecstatic when I connected the GSA bike battery and the engine immediately started at one go!
These 42 days (since 10th Feb 2023) have been quite an experience I will never forget – right from the rigorous cleaning to shipment delays, to anxiously awaiting customs and inspection clearance, not to mention the expenses all together. Phew! Now, I can’t wait to get on the road again!
