Day 058 (01 Mar 2023) - Darwin, Australia
DAY 059 – 01 MAR 2023 - I took a morning walk around Darwin city and managed to take some pictures. The weather was pleasantly strange. The temperature was 26 C but it was raining intermittently, for about 3 to 5 minutes each time with strong winds blowing.
I hopped on the ‘Hop on Hop off’ bus and got a good tour of Darwin and its surrounding areas. Since it was raining, the winds were so strong. I sat at the top deck of the double decker bus and enjoyed the cool breeze.
The ticket is AUD 24 and is valid for 24 hours. The bus stops at various travel points for us to get off and explore the place before the next bus arrives on a scheduled time. One of the stops was the Military Museum but it was closed at the time.
The bus travelled along some residential neighbourhoods. It also passed by a few jetties where many small boats and trawlers were docked. I also got to see some rabbits and wallabies running around the grass, which was fascinating!
