Day 052 (22 Feb 2023) - Dili, Timor-Leste
DAY 052 – 22 FEB 2023 – My motorbike is now signed, sealed and waiting to be delivered to Darwin!
Today, I got a chance to go for a football match with my neighbours at Dili Stadium. The match was between AD.SLB and Ultramar FC. The entrance was free and it was packed, both inside and outside the stadium. AD.SLB scored the first goal. After a tough fight, Ultramar FC finally scored a goal through a penalty kick at minute 62. The final result of the match was 1-1.
Even though I was not familiar with the teams, the game was riveting as both teams played really well and gave a tough fight. After all, football is a universal language, loved by many around the world!
Earlier, the shipping container was scheduled to leave on the 24th of Feb 2023. However, today I received an email that it is delayed again to 2nd March 2023. I will be leaving for Darwin at the end of this week regardless of the delay – It is better to just go with the flow and hope for the best!
