Day 039 (09 Feb 2023) - Dili, Timor-Leste
DAY 039 (09 FEB 2023) – Arrived back in Dili and checked-in to a nice homestay called Emmanuel Villa. This place is owned by a young couple, Alexandre Pascoal and his wife Mdm. Filomena Pinto.
They live just 30 meters away from the homestay. They invited me to have lunch, dinner and breakfast at their home. Since I was a paying guest at their villa, I offered to pay for the meals but the lovely couple refused to accept.
They were interested in the stories of my journey so far and were eager to try out my motorbike!
From our friendly interactions, I got to know that Mr Alex is a housing contractor and runs a successful business. His expertise is very evident in the beautiful designs of his home and villa. They have 2 young children, and are planning to open a pharmacy and start a hotel business.
I am grateful for their kindness and generosity, and wish them all the success in their future ventures!
