Day 034 (04 Feb 2023) - Batugade to Dili, Timor Leste
Day 034 (04 FEB 2023) – On the way back to Dili from Batugade, I met up with the 'Niki Niki' biker group from Kupang, Indonesia. Among them are Buyung, Ronny, Jonny, Rolly and Didi Tahir, who is an electrical contractor. They were in Timor-Leste on a temporary visit and connected with me as they were aware of my stay in Dili.
This friendly bunch treated me to tea and later dinner at Fatima Café.
Apparently, Indonesians can get a temporary 3-day entrance permit (Carnet not necessary), to enter Timor-Leste. This certificate is extendable for the duration of the stay.
