Day 032 (02 Feb 2023) - Dili, Timor-Leste
DAY 032 (02 FEB 2023) – Today, I visited the Malaysian Embassy at Dili, Timor-Leste. I met Mrs Nadia Azura Mohd Nudri, the Charge d’Affaires and Mr. Mohammad Zurairi Mohammed Ali, the 3rd secretary (Setiausaha Ketiga).
I had a good chat with Mr. Zurairi who recognised me since I had met him before at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Putrajaya. He knew of my previous solo bike trip to a few Asian countries, which I did several years ago. Later, I realised I still had his contact number on my phone all this while!
From my conversations with him, I came to know that there are at least 100 Malaysians in Timor-Leste - currently registered with the embassy.
