Day 022 (23 Jan 2023) - Padar Island, Labuan Bajo, Indonesia

DAY 022 (23 JAN 2023) – If you thought Labuan Bajo was amazing, wait till you visit its surrounding islands – which was exactly what I did the entire day!
Woke up early for a day tour to Komodo Island. The entire boat tour costs about RM 250 (Rs. 870,000). It includes a visit to several islands on the way, including Padar Island, Pink Beach and Manta Point.
I hopped on a boat at 6 am along with 15 other passengers, who were from various countries. The boat ride took 3 hours from Labuan Bajo to Padar Island, the first stop. All the way through this ride, I enjoyed the scenic view and the serenity of the blue sea.
The first stop on this boat tour was Padar Island. I trekked about 800 steps up a steep hill for about 20 minutes, just to get a scenic viewpoint at the top.
At about 180 meters above sea level, you could see the most amazing view of nature in its raw sense – the turquoise waters against the backdrop of green rugged volcanic landscapes. It was out-of-this-world!

I also got a chance to see the Javan Rusa (deer) – I made sure to capture these rare moments!
From Padar Island, the boat left for Komodo Island, which was one (1) hour away.
