Day 013 (14 Jan 2023) - Bengkulu to Krui, Indonesia
DAY 013 (14 JAN 2023) – Left early morning for an 8 hour journey on my bike from Bengkulu, heading to Krui. Been riding along the West Coast of Sumatera since the last few days, soaking in the beautiful view of the Indian Ocean. There are many amazing beaches along this coast line.
Along the way, I stopped by on a bridge overlooking a large estuary (muara) - where water coming from the hills, runs through the river all the way down to the sea.
Stopped by at Pantai Linau, Bintuhan, which is about 5 hours from Bengkulu. The water along the sea shore is clear and blue.
About an hour away, stopped by at Batu Tihang Beach, located right at the edge of the West Sumatera Cross Road. -The waves are huge and a lot of rocks at the shoreline. One that stands out is a large, tall rock that looks like a pillar, with green plants growing around it.
Reached Krui before dark and stayed overnight at a place called Penginapan Jokowi!
