Day 008 (09 Jan 2023) - Parapat to Sipirok, Indonesia
DAY 008 (09 JAN 2023) – Stayed overnight at an amazing place called Mas Cottages at Samosir Island, overseeing Lake Toba.
At about noon, I said goodbye to beautiful Samosir Island and took the ferry back to Parapat. Rode my motorbike for about 8 hours all the way to my next stop Sipirok.
Fun Fact : Samosir Island is essentially an island within an island. Both, lake and island were formed as a result of volcanic eruption thousands of years ago.
