Day 001 (02 Jan 2023) - Dewan Rakyat Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
DAY 001 (02 JAN 2023) - Today is the day I begin my humongous undertaken of travelling solo around the world on my motorbike. I plan to travel through 106 countries within an estimated time span of 20 months.
In the morning, I visited the Court Hill Sri Ganesar Temple in Kuala Lumpur (KL) for prayers and to seek blessings for my journey. I then headed straight to my Flag-Off Ceremony held at the Dewan Rakyat Batu Caves, KL.
Besides family, friends and well-wishers, the event was graced by several respected dignitaries, including Tuan Rahim Kasdi (political secretary of Selangor MB, Amiruddin Shaari), Yang Berhormat (YB) Tan Kok Wai (Member of Parliament for Cheras), Yang Berhormat (YB) Prabakaran (Member of Parliament for Batu) and Datuk Sri Ramesh Rao (Special Officer for Indian Affairs) .
Tuan Rahim Kasdi (political secretary of Selangor MB, Amiruddin Shaari) flagged off my journey.
YB Prabakaran followed me on my bike up to Sungai Besi Toll.
